Car repairs always seem to come at a time when you least expect them. We can offer a couple of alternatives to help you spread the cost of expensive repairs.
The Car Repair Plan provides a free and flexible way to save a ‘rainy day fund’ for servicing and repairs to your vehicle. It allows you to save as much or as little as you want on a regular basis to ensure that you always have the funds available for your vehicle and other vehicles owned by your family. You can pay a set or varied amount into the plan and may take a break from payments at any time. Your balance will be accessible for you to view online.
When you take your car into a participating Trust My Garage member such as Lambsdon’s, you can choose to use all or some of your account balance when settling the bill.

Bumper Finance will give credit of up to £3,000 with up to six months to repay. There is, of course, a charge for setting up the finance but it could be a quick solution to a difficult problem.
